  • I want to take language lessons. What do I need to do?

    It’s very simple. Choose your favourite teacher from the list of Learnissimo teachers. Reserve your next lesson with your teacher by consulting his or her availability schedule. At the date and time of your lesson, click on “enter my classroom” in your personal space. Your teacher will be waiting for you: the lesson can now begin!

  • How do I buy my lessons?

    You purchase the number of lessons you want on our secure payment site (payment by credit card or Paypal). When your account no longer contains enough lessons to pay for your next one, you must replenish your account.

  • What do I need to get started on Learnissimo?

    To take lessons by videoconference, you need a high-speed Internet connection and a webcam (with a built-in microphone). Using a microphone headset ensures optimal quality of communication.

  • Can I have several teachers?

    Yes, of course. For example, you can take English conversation classes with a teacher in New York and grammar lessons with a teacher in Liverpool. By choosing several teachers (therefore several availability schedules), you also maximise the number of timetable slots open to you to reserve lessons on.

  • Who are the Learnissimo teachers?

    The Learnissimo teachers come from all over the world. In order to guarantee you the best teachers, we carry out strict selection, through linguistic tests (grammar, vocabulary, conjugation), on-line training for our learning methods and a validation of their presentation video by our team.

  • I wish to cancel a lesson I have booked. What do I need to do?

    It’s very simple. Simply click on “cancel this lesson” in your personal space. The cancellation is free if you cancel in advance (See conditions for cancelling a lesson).

  • Do I have to download a software?

    No. There is no software to download, Learnissimo uses Flash technology for its lessons by videoconference.

  • I am behind a firewall or a proxy. Is this a problem?

    No, no problem. Our Flash technology uses the HTTP Tunnelling technique.

  • What happens if my teacher is late / absent the day of the lesson?

    If your teacher is late or absent from one of your lessons, Learnissimo automatically detects that your teacher did not log in to the classroom, and you will get a full refund.

  • Do the lessons I buy expire after a certain time?

    Yes, your lessons expire 365 days after the date of your last purchase. We therefore ask you to use your lessons during this period to avoid losing them. After 365 days, the lessons cannot be used and their value is lost. Once you have purchased lessons, you will not be able to convert them back into cash. The member waives any claims with respect to this time limit.
